Hard Plastic Capsules: For your “top tier” finds like those 2020-W V75 quarters. Especially useful for displaying.
Coin Albums: For organizing your “natural detective” progress by year and mint mark. Start with a shoe or cracker box until you can afford a safe for your successful hunts.
Body oils can ruin a coin’s grade over time. Handling “unsearched” rolls with gloves ensures your discovery stays in the best possible condition for auction. Moreover, be sure to wash your hands before handling the coins.
Reserved space or arrange to get a work desk to set your lamp and microscope on. A small safe can be safely stored in a drawer.
7. Treat it Like it's a part time Job
Once you’ve got the equipment needed to begin your coin roll hunting journey, then reserve the time, whether daily, once a week, or if a need for the thrill of treasure hunting overtakes you.
