2018 Minnesota Voyageurs Quarter errors and varieties exist!  Have you found any like these with die breaks or a doubled die reverse?  John Wexler’s website listed a 2018 Minnesota Voyageurs quarter doubled die variety as 2018-P 25¢ MN WDDR-001

How to Identify the WDDR-001 Voyageurs Variety

Minor doubling displays on the upper right side of the large rock to the right of the loon’s head in a microscopic image.  As you can see, a 10X loupe or coin microscope is necessary to find the doubled die.  I used the Carson zOrb digital microscope to capture these images and other anomalies, such as interior die breaks.

Moreover, note the interior die break on this 2018 Minnesota quarter displaying near the tail on the loon, and a die chip as an extra rock on the side of the cliff.  Plus, more feeder finger errors are noted with arrows in the images below so keep scrolling.  Weigh the coins using a coin scale, because sometimes a die break makes a coin heavier than its 5.67g counterparts.

Die markings like these make a quarter more rare, so 2018 Voyageurs quarter doubled dies and interior die breaks are collectible coins.  Observe the location on a 2018 Minnesota quarter where die breaks appearing as falling rocks off the cliff.
