Furthermore, ANACS and NGC are two inexpensive options for those on a budget that want to have the variety graded and slabbed. The condition of the coins, and the prominence of errors or anomalies on them contributes to their value.




Additionally, the Delaware state quarter released in 1999. It represents The First State.  This coin celebrates Caesar Rodney’s historic horseback ride in 1776. – usmint.gov

Furthermore, a 1999-P 25C Delaware State quarter graded MS66, sold at auction for $4,888.00 in 2008.  One graded MS69 has an estimated price guide value of $14,000!  However, a 1999-D 25C Delaware state quarter graded MS64, sold at auction for $1,380.00 in 2003.

Additionally, a Delaware state quarter graded MS69 has an estimated value of $9,500.  Those quarter coins are valuable strictly based on the condition of the coin meanwhile, without the famous “spitting horse” die crack.

Moreover, the coin with the lowest population of the highest grade gets the greater value.  In other words, that’s why it’s recommended to buy original wrapped rolls to search. 1999 P and 1999 D Delaware state quarters also display doubled dies!

2020 P Weir Farm Connecticut quarter doubled die varieties and errors exist!  For instance, I bought original mint wrapped uncirculated rolls directly from the United States Mint to search through for quarter errors and varieties.

Needless to say, I hit a coin variety jackpot!  For instance, observe the 2020 P Weir Farm Connecticut doubled die reverse variety quarter obtained from a mint wrapped roll.  Furthermore, these rare quarters appeared to have a satin-like finish.

At first, I mistook this quarter as incused machine doubling.   However, I decided to check for any new rarity listings on doubleddie.com first, where there are indeed 2020 quarter doubled die variety coin rarities listed!

Doubled die variety quarters are not only rare, but can drastically increase in value over time.  Doubled die variety and error coins are a lot of fun for treasure seekers with limited mobility to hunt for.  Coin hunters find rare and valuable coins like this 2020 Weir Farm doubled die variety, by taking on a task called coin roll hunting.

Proof-Like Quarter Varieties

Furthermore, satin finish coins have a different appearance than proof, proof-like, or business strike coins. Moreover, these coin aren’t mirror-like.  However, they’re more glossy in appearance.

Additionally, satin finish coins are struck on special sandblasted or “burnished planchets.”  Furthermore, the 2020 D Weir Farm Connecticut mint wrapped quarter roll appeared shinier, and indeed more proof-like.
