A 2002 P Mississippi State Quarter Improperly Annealed Sintered Planchet, sold at auction via Great Collections for just $16.00.

The return of investment doesn’t appear worth sending a quarter with an annealing error in for grading. Demand isn’t high for this type of error, so if you find one you’ll profit more by selling it in raw condition. One in this condition though, is best sent off for grading and auction.

2013 Ohio quarters don’t necessarily have to be an error or variety to be valuable. The more flawless the specimen is, the higher the coin’s grade. For instance, a 2013-P 25C Perry’s Victory Memorial NP quarter dollar coin graded MS68, sold for $995.00.

Furthermore, a 2013-D Perry’s Memorial NP quarter dollar graded MS68, sold for $500.00. Finally, a 2013-S Perry’s Memorial NP quarter graded Ms67, sold for $140.00. In other words, these quarters are valuable because of their pristine condition.

In addition to auction values, 2013 Ohio quarters are selling in raw condition on ebay for a few dollars and up. However, it also depends on condition and the type of error or variety coin. Eye appeal is everything.
